Hillsborough County Sunshine Line provides door-to-door transportation and bus passes for elderly who do not have or cannot afford their own. Transportation is provided primarily to medical appointments, day care or nutrition sites, but non-medical trips are provided on a space-available basis.

Hillsborough County Senior Services provides social activities and health and wellness programs through our seven senior centers, as well as transportation options, meal delivery, and care-giving services that help older adults of all physical abilities get the most out of life.

Hillsborough County Aging Services offers numerous services designed to enhance the lives of older adults age 50 and over, from active adult programming and in-home services to hot meals and referral services.
The Senior Connection center serves people who typically are 60 years of age and older in a five county area. Some of the services they offer include: healthcare information, Medicare/Medicaid information, caregiver information, and acting as your advocate with government programs.
Florida Disaster News and Preparedness
FloridaDisaster.org is the Division of Emergency Management's primary website for providing information to Florida residents regarding any state emergencies. It also contains up-to-date emergency news, for the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) and preparedness information for everyone.
Crisis Center or Dial 2-1-1
The Crisis Center provides immediate and confidential short-term crisis intervention, and information & referral to many services, including resources for: basic needs for food, rent, clothing, shelter and utilities, relationship counseling, senior services, health and substance abuse issues, depression and suicide, disaster assistance, legal affairs and financial support.
