Federal Vaccination Sites

Vaccine Availability

Beginning Tuesday, April 6, the federal FEMA vaccination site at the Tampa Greyhound Track is dispensing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine only for new vaccinations. Second dose Pfizer appointments, for those who got their first dose at the FEMA site, will still be provided at their appointment time.

State-Supported Vaccination Sites

The state is providing free COVID-19 vaccines to eligible person(s) at Hillsborough County at the following site(s):

Raymond James Stadium (Walk-up accepted, Appointment NOT required)

4201 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa

8:00AM-7:00PM daily

Children’s Board (Walk-up accepted; Appointment NOT required)

1002 E. Palm Ave., Tampa

9:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Saturday

NO vaccines given on the following dates: 4th Thursday of every month, April 16th, May 14th

Homebound Residents

Residents who do not have transportation to get the vaccine can contact the Florida Division of Emergency Management and be placed on a list to receive the vaccination at home. Please email to receive a survey and determine eligibility.

Hillsborough County is now distributing the COVID-19 Vaccine in various distribution sites across the county.

Making a Vaccine Appointment

Florida uses a statewide preregistration system to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments for individuals 65 and older. Eligible individuals can pre-register for vaccine appointments and be notified when appointments are available by visiting

County Vaccination Sites

Hillsborough County is administering free vaccinations at the following locations to eligible residents with an appointment. There will be no vaccines for persons without appointments.

Vance Vogel Sports Complex (drive-thru) – 13102 Bullfrog Creek Road in Gibsonton

Ed Radice Sports Complex (drive-thru) – 14720 Ed Radice Drive in Tampa

TPepin’s Hospitality Centre (indoors) – 4121 N. 50th St. in Tampa – Enter the location via Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and follow directional signs to the parking area.



Appointments for vaccination at a County-operated site are mandatory. Vaccines will not be distributed to those without appointments.

  1. Create an account with CDR Health Pro ( You must create an account to request an appointment.

  2. Select from available appointments for your first dose - your second dose appointment will be automatically assigned.

COVID-19 Vaccination Facts

  • Hillsborough County is now distributing the vaccine to all residents 18 years of age and older.

  • There is no out-of-pocket cost to be vaccinated.  

  • Appointments are required. There will be no vaccines for people without appointments.  

Other Ways to Get Vaccinated

Qualified individuals under Phase 2 of the governor’s vaccination distribution plan are encouraged to check with their health care provider as they may be able to provide a vaccine.

Some pharmacies located in Hillsborough County are administering COVID-19 vaccines through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
